Frequently asked questions
Does it work offline?
Yes. Writing and the app’s language tools work on your phone without a connection. The app makes no network requests.
Can anyone at the app read my lyrics?
No. The app collects no data. Your lyrics are local plain-text files. If you export or share a file, you choose where it goes.
Can I take my lyrics out?
Yes. Import and export use plain text, so your words are not tied to the app. History and Recently Deleted help you recover local work.
Which languages can I write in?
English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Russian. Rhyme and stress are aids for the written line; your voice and accent make the final call.
How do I get a plain page?
Open the editor’s ••• menu and choose Plain. You can bring the analysis back from the same menu.
